| Terms and Conditions Placing an Order All orders made by you through the Web site are subject to acceptance by us. We will acknowledge your order by email, please note that this is an acknowledgement email only and does not mean that we have accepted your order. We will debit your credit card at time of order, however if your order is not accepted we will credit your card immediately. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us until we actually dispatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods without giving any reason. At the moment that the goods are dispatched (and not before) a contract will be made between you and us. Customer Responsibility On delivery of your product please inspect it for damage and notify the Bed Factory Outlet within 48 hours of delivery. If your items are next day delivery they will be delivered via a carrier. You must check your goods have arrived without damage prior to signing for them. Upon signing for the goods that are later to be found damage this will invalidate any claim. Delivery Please note delivery is mainland UK only. We will email you with regards to delivery as the first possible convenience after you have placed your order. We will not attempt delivery without informing you first and receiving your acceptance that this is convenient. Please make sure that you are available on the day arranged for delivery. If no one is available to accept delivery we will charge a re-delivery fee of £30.00. Please note the above action is necessary due to the low margins we achieve. In the majority of cases any redelivery required means we make a loss on that sale. If the occasion arises where we have to change your delivery date through matters outside our control an alternative date will be given. No compensation will be given if this arises. Availability of goods All beds offered are subject to availability. If the bed you have ordered is not available, you will be contacted by email or telephone, if you have entered the relevant details. You will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order. A comparable product may be substituted in the event of a product being unavailable, pending customer agreement. Prices and Payment All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. Prices quoted are correct at time of entering information. We reserve the right to change prices and specification of any item on the web site at our discretion without prior notice or to withdraw any items at any time. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for withdrawing any items from the web site or refusing to process an order. However, this will not affect any orders that have been accepted and therefore dispatched. Payment can be made on the web site by debit/credit card, paypal or you can opt for cash on delivery. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorize payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment. Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period. The term 'normal price' is used to describe the usual retail-selling price of a product within our store. All customers must reside in mainland UK Security Credit/debit card details are encrypted to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access or disclosure. We accept orders only from Web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, for example, 3.0 version or higher of Explorer and versions 3.02 or higher of Netscape. This means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection. Your complete credit card number is transferred to this secure machine across a proprietary one-way interface. This computer is not accessible by network or modem and the number is not stored anywhere else. From time to time a notice may appear on your screen alerting you to the fact that you are moving from a secure server to one which is not secure. Do not be alarmed by this. The secure part is where we take personal details or your credit card details from you and is covered by our security guarantee. Cancellation and Returns If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, within 7 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. The refund amount does not include the delivery charge. However the following points must be observed: Items must be returned in an unused condition with the original packaging, along with the receipt or other valid proof of purchase. Items are to be returned at your expense unless the item purchased was damaged or faulty when you received it. All products are checked on return to our warehouse To return the item please contact us by email quoting your order number. In the event that the goods have already been dispatched at the date of receipt of your cancellation of the order you must return the goods to us and we will credit your credit or debit card with the price of the goods within 30 days beginning with the day on which notice of cancellation was given. If you do not return the goods within 21 days of your cancellation, we will make a charge in respect of the cost of recovering the goods. The full cost of returning the product will be charged. If you do not return the goods or fail to make them available for collection within 30 days of your notice of cancellation, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods, at which point a new purchase contract will be made and you will be charged for your order at the price set out on the website. This does not affect your statutory rights. As we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods we recommend that you send the items by trackable means. Alternatively you may request us to pick up your goods at our convenience. We will inform you of the cost dependant on your postcode. Please note that all goods return must be in their original packaging and with all seals in tact. Your statutory rights are not affected. A Cookie is a file that your Web Browser places on your computer's hard drive, which allows us to help you get the best out of your visit to the site. The cookies we use are only store basic information about your order they do not store password or credit card information. Disclosure of Information: Data Protection The information on the form you submit will be held and used by Bed Factory Outlet in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act for the purpose of order processing and account administration only. Your information will never be passed on to third party representatives The information contained in the above terms and conditions is complete at time of publishing. Bed Factory Outlet reserve the right to amend at their discretion and without prior notice. Products and company names mentioned may be the trademarks or registered trade marks of their respective owners. No permission is granted in the respect of use of any of the above such use may constitute an infringement of the holders rights.
